Entry Conditions

Description

Everyone entering Ireland must have a valid passport or in the case of European Union Member States, a national identity card. Visas are not required for most European and Eastern European countries. Irish Visa Applications

  • Apply  for a short stay Conference/event visa  if you plan to visit Ireland  to attend e.g.: conference/workshop/work interview 
  • Apply for a Visa for scientific researchers  only if you have a Hosting Agreement issued by a university or  any other accredited employer in Ireland. 
  • Apply for Atypical Working Scheme if you  have a paid internships where the position is an integral component (i.e. required for graduation) of studies in an accredited institution in Ireland.
